Simpsons Movie Review July 30, 2007
You can read this blog and not worry about me giving away any secrets of the movie or ending spoiler.
The Simpsons movie was amazing. We went to a late showing on Saturday night and it was crowded. We showed put for the 9:30 but it was sold out, so we waited for the 10:00 showing. I laughed so hard at times. It was classic Simpsons, but you got to see a lot of the characters over the years that you haven’t seen since the episode that featured them. Stampy made a special appearance along with Dr. Nick. The best part besides Bart’s dare was the opening scene involving Itchy and Scratchy.
This movie is so worth the money to see. Even if you only watch the Simpsons occationally, you won’t have a problem following the movie. Make sure you stay for the ending credits, though.
Gas is killing me July 23, 2007
This weekend was so much fun, but it was tons of driving. This post is the rant about how much I hate to put gas in my SUV, but how much I love my car. Got together with friends and since I’ve got an SUV with 3rd row, I always have to drive. It cost me over $60 to fill up and then we were do running all over the state, I had less than 1/4 of tank. No one offered to pay for gas or even buy one of my meals to make up for it. I guess they think if I start planning a trip, I’m responsible for gas.
I’ll be so glad when my Shell gas card comes in from Gameznflix. When I signed up for service I prepaid 3 months ($50.97) (far less than a tank of gas) and I got a $25 gas card for free. I watch tv and everyother commerical is offering free gas as a promo, but you don’t know what kinda gas card your getting. I didn’t mind prepaying 3 months, because I love the service and knowing it was a Shell gas card I knew I could use it just down the street from. Again, back to my rant. Gas is way to expensive!!!! And I keep hearing its only going to increase. That Shell gas card from Gameznflix will help so much.

Terrors of BabySitting July 19, 2007
I make this statement for the world to see. . . . babysitting triplet 5 yr boys isn’t worth the hourly pay. I need hazard pay. They were kinda well behaved at the pool, but once we got to McDs they went crazy. I was pulling them out of the slide only to find they had taken their shirts & shorts off at the top of the slide. I had their older sister (not much she’s only 7) go get their clothes. Like I said I need HAZARD pay. 
We won’t even talk about the crying and screaming that happened when I told them they couldn’t have any ice cream. The only way that I got them to calm down was to bribe them with new rented Wii game (I don’t make an enough money to be buying those kids new games). They love Mario Party 8. I’d forgotten how much fun, Mario games can be. The boys loved it bc they got to play against each other and just around like wild animals. The mini games are great at keeping their attention and its not super violent. Their sister even wants to play it and she can’t stand video game. . . . she’s more of a baby doll and Barbie kinda girl. Only 3 hours left in baby sitting and then I can return to the adult world. . . although my only adventure in the adult world will be take-out and watching Breach with my roommates. Wish me luck.
Hangin w the Girls! July 19, 2007
Last night was a girls night completely! It was so much fun. We laughed, made drinks, and watched scary movies. The best we watched was Amityville Horror (remake). Ryan Reynolds is so hot!!!! I just started using this great service called gameznflix.com. . . . they ship me what i want to watch, but the best was that i could watch movie trailers. I so never would have rented Amityville Horror unless I had seen the trailer. Remakes of horror movies are so played out and boring. . . anyone remember the remake of Psycho (in color).
